Quote of the Day

Via Talking Points Memo:

Rep. Barney Frank (D-MA): '[Obama's] going to have to be more assertive than he's been. At a time of great crisis with mortgage foreclosures and autos, he says we only have one president at a time. I'm afraid that overstates the number of presidents we have. He's got to remedy that situation.'
Now, I really like Barney Frank, but isn't there another branch of government called Congress? You remember that independent branch of government? It's the one that's charged with passing laws & dealing with stuff like the crisis with the economy, with mortgage foreclosures and autos. And it's allowed to do so without Obama creating a constitutional crisis by overstepping his legal bounds before he's officially sworn in as President.
