The Big Sport

Yesterday was my husband David's birthday. As part of his day long celebration, he played in the Senior (45+) Grass Court Championship at The Germantown Cricket Club. Although he lost in the second round, the winner bought him a few beers.

He then moved on to a golf tournament (he didn't play), followed by a Beef & Beer event. The day ended with a BBQ at our house, complete with a birthday cake that read "Knocking on 60's door" -- courtesy of my daughter & her friends.

All in all, a happy day.
