Is This Study Satire?

Joe Scarborough loves Jon Stewart and Stephen Colbert. Of course, I can't really blame him. So do I. Recent Scarborough Country shows have focused on both the Daily Show and the Colbert Report.

Discussing a new "study" about the impact of the Daily Show which found that Jon Stewart is one of the most trusted names in the news, see video at , One Good Move.

The study found that the Daily Show contained as much news as did the network news broadcasts. See TV Squad. It's one of those good news for Stewart, bad news for the so-called journalists on the "real news shows." See But did we really need a study to figure that out? All you need is to watch both on a regular basis. As I said in Humor Hurts, and Public Enemy, enough with the studies already -- The Daily Show is excellent political satire and just plain funny. What more is there to say?

Scarborough then visits Colbert Nation with Adam Sternbergh, Steve Adubata Ph.D. and Philly's own Michael Smercomish, see video at One Good Move. This time, he discusses the upcoming anniversary of the Colbert Report, along with the piece on Stephen Colbert by Sternbergh in New York Magazine, see Colbert's Cult of Personality.

I think there may be a little jealousy there, because they are such the rage, but I also think Scarborough does like them, despite himself.
