Politics: The Only Religious Value

Keith Olbermann's Countdown continues it's look at the role of religion in the politics of George Bush and his fellow Republicans, as discussed in the new book, "Tempting Faith," by David Kuo (see The Nuts for Part 1).

The only religious value:

The Bush White House would use anything for politics, anything.

(See also Crooks & Liars for video & transcript).

UPDATE: Crooks & Liars also has the video (and transcript) of David Kuo on 60 Minutes. Says Kuo:

"God and politics had become very much fused together into a sort of a single entity. Where, in a way, politics was the fourth part of the trinity. God the father, God the son, God the holy spirit, God the politician."
CBS News also has the video available at its site, see A Loss Of Faith.
