Voting in a backwater Philly 'Burb: Walk right in (no line). Say hello to the ladies at the table and take a cookie, then pick out your name on the list, sign in, and let the genial gentleman escort you to the booth. BTW, Bob Herbert's column today describes my fears to a "T".
My vote for Obama was mainly for the intelligent choice, as well as the person who got the next generation to look at political action as a good thing.
But, good god, does he have his work cut out for him. Still makes me think the Republicans intentionally threw the race, so they wouldn't have to deal with the mess they created.
My on-line version of posting articles and cartoons on the fridge at the office, where I hang out, eat lunch (& sometimes work) with the LLWL Gang (Lady Lawyers Who Lunch, a/k/a my officemates).
Musings on politics, law, life & literature. Mixed with a little humor in between.
