Just Words

From Yes We Can to We Are the Ones.

Will.i.am, the Black Eyed Peas member whose “Yes We Can” song for Barack Obama was a YouTube hit, came out with another video a few days ago.

Via The Caucus, Send in the Celebrities, is the latest effort: “We Are the Ones” uses the rhythm of a crowd chanting Mr. Obama’s name and features actors and musicians, including Jessica Alba, Ryan Phillipe, Macy Gray, John Leguizamo and George Lopez.

With the chanting of "Obama" throughout -- for those calling the Obama fans a cult, The Trouble With Too Much Charisma, this song will certainly become the theme song for Cultism.

On the other hand, as Will.i.am says:

people say Obama’s words are just words...
but...
when was the last time "words" weren’t important...???...

when was the last time a great leader didn’t use words to lead...??...
when was the last time a person didn’t use words to describe how they felt...?...
when was the last time "words" weren’t empowering...?...
